BACKGROUND AND HISTORY - Ron Leuschner Spraying Ltd. was officially incorporated in August 1979, however prior to that had been operating under sole proprietorship since the early 1960’s. Over the last 35 plus years, we have provided Plant Health Care Programs to thousands of residential homeowners and commercial property owners. We have also provided various ‘Property Services’ as well as ‘Industrial Vegetation Management Services’ to several municipalities in the GTA, the Province of Ontario, various Hydro Commissions, Hospitals as well as private land owners. Our service area includes the entire GTA and Golden Horseshoe. Municipalities and provincial agencies serviced include Ministry of Transportation of Ontario, the Municipalities of York and Durham, Toronto Region Conservation, Parks Canada, Nature Conservancy of Canada, Hydro One, Power Stream Inc., City of Toronto, Town of Richmond Hill, Town of Bradford, Town of East Gwillimbury, Stouffville, Uxbridge, City of Vaughan and Townships of King & Georgina. Other Services include; • Enforcement of property standards by-law orders • Mowing of long grass and weeds, both on residential properties and large acreage i.e. right of ways • Boarding up of vacant houses • Litter and debris clean ups • Vegetation management (poisonous plant and invasive plant abatement) • Structural pest control • Landscape construction • Winter snow maintenance including plowing, shoveling and salting • Building monitoring and site inspections 3. ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE - Leuschner’s is made up of 3 divisions A) Commercial Property Maintenance B) Lawn Care Program Services. C) Industrial Vegetation Management. Production managers support Production coordinators who in turn support Supervisors and crew leaders. All work is tracked with scheduling software and digital “work orders” so that an accurate account of each day’s accomplishments is readily available at anytime in the future. The “work order” tracking also reduces the chances of errors in scheduling, allowing for tasks to be performed on time consistently. Full time administrative staff along with internet, telephone, facsimile, GPS and cell phone communications allow for quick response to any client queries.
